Backup and moving device
- In BoshDone Settings, choose Export complete backup.
- Choose a destination you control. If you set a backup password, keep it somewhere safe; it cannot be recovered.
- On the destination device, install BoshDone, choose Restore backup and select the file.
- Review the replacement warning before replacing any records. A BoshDone backup does not restore the Google Play Pro entitlement; use Restore purchase separately.
Important: uninstalling, clearing app storage or losing the device can remove records that were not exported.
Purchase or restore Pro
- Confirm that Google Play is signed in to the account that made the purchase.
- Connect to the internet, open BoshDone Settings, then open the one-time upgrade screen.
- Choose Restore purchase and allow Google Play to finish checking ownership.
- If a refund or revocation occurred while offline, access changes after the next successful Play ownership check.
Payment methods, receipts and refund requests are managed by Google Play. Existing job records and exports are not deleted when Pro is unavailable.
The replacement app package com.boshdone.app is a separate Google Play app from the original io.github.w1llb1984.boshdone. A purchase in the original app does not automatically transfer to the replacement. If you previously bought Pro, contact support with your Play order reference before paying again. Do not send your payment-card details or purchase token.
App lock
The optional lock uses Android's biometric or device-credential prompt. Set up a supported screen lock in Android first. If authentication is unavailable, check the device's security settings and reopen BoshDone.
The lock protects the interface from casual access; it is not a separately encrypted database.
Delete local data
Delete individual jobs from within BoshDone where available. To remove all local app data, use Android Settings → Apps → BoshDone → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
Clearing storage or uninstalling is destructive. Export a backup first if you need the records. Previously exported or shared copies must be deleted from their destinations separately.
