BoshDone job photo reports

Privacy policy

BoshDone is designed as a local-first Android app. TheAppDevs_Team does not operate an application account system, job-data server or remote database for BoshDone.

Effective: 2 October 2026 · Last updated: 7 October 2026

1. Who we are

BoshDone is provided by TheAppDevs_Team. Questions about this policy can be sent to w1lljsb84@gmail.com.

2. Information stored on your device

You may choose to enter or create the following information in BoshDone:

  • business details, including a trading name, contact details, logo and report colours;
  • client and property details, job labels, addresses, references and dates;
  • checklists, scope, results, notes, observations, agreement notes and job history;
  • photographs you capture or import, along with captions, groupings, annotations, redactions and basic provenance information;
  • PDF reports, report revisions and export packages;
  • invoice details, charges, VAT information, paid/unpaid records and payment instructions, including bank details or payment links you choose to enter; and
  • any acknowledgement or signature content that you deliberately include in a note, photograph or imported file. BoshDone does not collect biometric-signature data as a separate identity service.

This content is stored in app-private storage on your Android device. It is processed locally to organise jobs, match before-and-after images, search records, generate PDFs and create backups. TheAppDevs_Team cannot view these records through a BoshDone server because no such server is operated.

3. Camera, photos and on-device processing

BoshDone asks for camera permission only when you choose to take a photograph. Gallery imports use Android's system photo picker rather than broad photo-library access. Captured and selected images are copied into app-private storage.

CameraX capture, image preparation, report generation and any supported text recognition are performed on the device. BoshDone does not send job images to a cloud AI or OCR service. Images may leave the device only when you deliberately export, back up or share them.

4. Reports, sharing and backups

When you choose to save, export or share a PDF, ZIP, image summary or backup, Android asks you to select a destination or receiving app. The chosen file provider, email app, messaging service, cloud drive or recipient then handles that copy under its own privacy terms. Opening Android's share sheet does not prove that a file was sent or received.

Backups are manual and user-controlled; BoshDone does not automatically synchronise them. A complete backup can contain business details, customer/job records, original images, report snapshots and, from version 1.0.2, saved invoices. Invoice PDFs may include payment instructions you entered; check the recipient before sharing. BoshDone does not collect your customers' invoice payments. Optional password-protected backups use local encryption, but you must keep the password safe. Unprotected exports and copies stored by other apps are outside BoshDone's control.

5. Google Play purchases

BoshDone offers an optional one-time Pro purchase through Google Play. Google processes the payment and applies its own privacy policy. BoshDone's Play Billing component exchanges product, purchase-history, purchase-token and entitlement status with Google Play so the app can start, acknowledge and restore the purchase. BoshDone keeps the resulting entitlement state locally for offline access.

TheAppDevs_Team does not receive your full payment-card or bank-account details from Google Play. Bank details you choose to put in an invoice are stored locally and are included only in the invoices or backups you deliberately export or share. Purchase data is not used for advertising or profiling.

6. Google Play reviewer access

A release submitted to Google Play may include an offline reviewer-access field. An authorised reviewer can enter a temporary, signed code supplied through Play Console to inspect Pro features. The code is verified and stored only on the review device, is tied to the app package and version, expires automatically and does not create a paid entitlement. It is excluded from BoshDone's manual business-data backups.

7. Optional app lock and security

You can enable an interface lock that uses Android's supported biometric or device-credential prompt. BoshDone does not receive a copy of your fingerprint, face or device PIN. Authentication is handled by Android.

The interface lock helps prevent casual access and can conceal the app in the recent-apps view. It is not a separately encrypted database and cannot guarantee protection on a compromised or unlocked device. No storage or deletion method can promise absolute security.

8. What BoshDone does not use

BoshDone has no user account, remote job database, automatic cloud sync, advertising SDK, advertising identifier, location permission, contacts permission or microphone permission.

From version 1.0.1, optional Google Analytics for Firebase measures app interactions and milestones such as starting jobs, creating reports, viewing the upgrade offer and beginning a purchase. A selected work category may be included. Collection starts only after you opt in and can be disabled in Settings. Google may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, event times and approximate location inferred from IP addresses. BoshDone never sends photographs, customer details, job names, addresses, notes, PDF contents or purchase tokens to this analytics service.

Analytics helps us improve the app and measure acquisition effectiveness. Advertising storage, advertising user-data sharing and advertising personalisation consent remain denied. Disabling analytics resets the local analytics identifier and stops further collection; it does not automatically erase data previously received by Google. Contact us with privacy requests. See Google’s privacy policy.

Google Play Billing and Android support components may process operational information needed to provide their services. BoshDone does not use that information for advertising or marketing.

9. Retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete them in BoshDone, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Archiving a job only hides it from the main list; it does not delete it. Report revisions and referenced media may be retained where needed to preserve the job record.

Uninstalling or clearing app data can permanently remove local records. Export a current backup first if you want to keep them. Copies that you previously exported, shared, emailed or saved elsewhere are not removed when you delete data from BoshDone; delete those copies from the relevant destination separately. Android or device backups outside the app may follow the device provider's settings and retention rules.

10. Children

BoshDone is a professional work-record tool and is not directed to children. TheAppDevs_Team does not knowingly operate a service that collects children's job records through a BoshDone backend.

11. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app's features, dependencies or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will not be described as applying retroactively where that would be misleading.

For privacy questions or help deleting local BoshDone data, email w1lljsb84@gmail.com. Because TheAppDevs_Team does not hold your local job database, it cannot remotely retrieve or delete records stored only on your device.
